The room we were upgraded to was spacious, providing ample area to organize ourselves before heading home. The free Wi-Fi was a nice touch, allowing me to stay connected while soaking in the ambiance. Dining at the pub was a highlight; the fish and chips were outstanding, and the bar staff were friendly and accommodating. The restaurant offered a varied menu, making it a convenient choice for meals. While the housekeeping was generally on point, a little more attention to detail could enhance the experience—there were a few long hairs in the bathroom that should’ve been addressed. For travelers looking for an authentic experience, decent amenities like electric kettles and a flat-screen TV add to the overall value. I'd recommend the Swan for those seeking a homey feel at a reasonable price, but a slight upgrade in cleaning practices would elevate the stay further.
